WE HAVE A PIANO - STOP IN TO PLAY!

Our Mission:
"To advance RRCA as the focal point for cultural, educational and artistic enrichment and perpetuate a sense of community; It does so through the presentation of exhibits, the development of artists, and by attracting regional audiences."

OUR COMMITMENT:
"For decades, the arts have been a crucial outlet for many. Art is not only an avenue to express one's feelings, but it is a powerful way to be seen and heard. This is especially important for the disenfranchised/marginalized within our community. At RRCA, equality, access and equity for all is our core belief. We welcome all patrons and artists with support and acceptance. Staff and board seek out education and understanding of DEAI practices and all representatives of the organization will be updated on new policies.
RRCA is your community art center, and we will continue to learn and implement ways to remain an inclusive organization; a safe space for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and persons with disabilities."

RIVERFRONT RENAISSANCE CENTER FOR THE ARTS
AI STATEMENT
FOR ARTISTS
This statement is to clarify policies for artists submitting gallery works for exhibitions and the use of AI technology, or as recently named and used for this statement: “promptography”.
AI created promptography images will not be accepted for exhibits and further, printed promptography images are not to be sold as “art” on our premises or with the RRCA name. Promptography created images and objects alone are not accepted as original art at this time.
Promptography images may only be utilized as reference photos for traditionally created original art – ie. works on paper, or canvas etc. created by traditional means (with pencil, paint, etc.) For data purposes, RRCA will request that AI-influenced art be disclosed and documented as such upon submission. Traditional photography, and digital art as it is defined currently, are accepted as described in our exhibit prospectus/ call for art.
As our access to new technology is ever-evolving, this policy statement for AI for artists will also evolve and be updated as we all experience changes that affect the creative arts.
